On your quad bike (or by 4WD) journey over hills and gullies, through a giant banyan tree forest and coconut plantation before arriving at a small village. After being greeted by the locals, you will be guided, on foot, through natural untouched rainforest with only the sound of the rare birds as they make you welcome from the tree tops. Pass over small streams before reaching the first cave which you can enter and go right through coming out heading to your 2nd cave. Here you will see beautiful rock formations and stalactites hanging from the ‘ceiling’ along with a rare colony of bats that have made this their home. Continue through the cave, paddling in shallow water, to see small waterfalls, small pools, and more amazing rock formations, before heading outside to cave #3. After another short walk through the rain forest, you will reach a swimming hole surrounded by huge boulders that you will climb to access the cave. Again, mysterious rock formations make way for running water leading to small pools and caverns.
After your return walk to the village, you will receive a welcomed lunch of fresh fruits and local foods prepared by the women in your absence. If you are lucky, the guides will have caught some prawns from the small steams during your walk, and they too will be cooked up to add to your ‘feast’.
Play with the children or just relax after your meal, before your journey back to the ‘real world’.
